CSS (then: Central South Security) opened it’s doors in 1984 with the main goal of helping the people of Middle Tennessee protect their loved ones, homes and businesses with alarm and security systems.

Our mission is to provide Burglar and Fire Alarm Systems that are custom designed to meet the unique needs of our clients in Greater Nashville. We monitor these accounts with an unprecedented level of customer support. Every time a client needs us, we view it as a chance to exceed their expectations.

As a locally owned and operated company, we realized early on that we couldn’t compete with the national brands as far as advertising budgets and sales forces were concerned.  That was fine, because we also knew that they couldn’t match our level of customer support and care.  It would only be a matter of time until word of mouth would begin to spread and referrals would compound to build our company to what it is today.  Now, with thousands of great customer relationships we continue to strive by practicing the same methods that we did back then, but now with one very important added bonus – decades of experience.

A “One Stop” Option

In the early 90’s we began to work with more and more new construction home builders and noticed that there was a real need for other services like, CCTV Camera Surveillance Systems, Audio Video Systems and Phone/TV/Internet Wiring.  We knew that if we applied the same level of care and value that we offer with our life safety systems, we could really be a unique “one stop” option for our clients and builder clients.

That is when Central South Security became Central South Systems and we’ve never looked back!  Our builder clients love that they can make one phone call and we take care of everything, but they aren’t the only ones.  Our homeowner clients value the fact that they call us, a company that they know and trust, for virtually anything they can dream of to protect and enjoy their homes and businesses.
